1. How well established is Exceed Contracting?

Exceed Contracting Limited, part of the Exceed Outsourcing group, was incorporated in 2013 and is based in Manchester in the UK.

Our group of companies provides outsourced contractor payroll services including: Umbrella, CIS Sole Trader, PEO Sole Employment, PEO Joint Employment and Payroll Bureau services.

Our compliance is accredited by Professional Passport and PayePass and we’re on the Preferred Supplier List for a lot of the largest recruitment agencies in the UK.

2. How much do you charge?

For our Umbrella payroll service, Exceed Contracting generally charge a fixed margin per timesheet/payslip, which is agreed with each individual recruitment agency.

This competitive rate is for our full suite of services as standard, with no hidden costs or charges.  We don’t charge any joining or leaving fees.

For our competitive margin, we provide an exceptional Umbrella service which includes: a named support contact for each worker, 5* customer service levels, discounts/rewards, online academy, real time pay updates, generous refer-a-friend bonuses, compliance guarantees and business insurances.

Our fee structure is different for other payroll services.  Please get in touch to Find Out More.

3. How does the payment process work?

Exceed Contracting does pay runs throughout the day, from Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays.

On receipt of hours (usually via spreadsheet from your recruitment business), we will raise an invoice and send it over within 3 hours.

Once we’ve received funds that match the invoice, we will make payments to individual contractors on the next pay run via Faster Pay (same day payment).

Our margin is charged per individual payment/payslip, so there is no charge if no contractors are paid.

Contractors will receive their payslips by email and a real-time SMS to confirm that they have been paid.  They can also view their payslips, P60s and P45s in our online portal.

4. Will we have our own account manager?

Yes, you will have a named Account Manager at Exceed Contracting, who will deal with your referrals, queries or concerns.

You will be given their direct contact details. Please do not give your Account Manager’s contact details to your candidates, as they will have their own named point of contact within our Relationship Team.

To refer a candidate to us, either email your Account Manager, ask your candidate to call 0800 612 8787, complete our Refer to Exceed form online.

5. What business insurance do you have?
